Job Description:

• Work according to production plan and maintain operational efficiency

• Maintain the plant clean, organized and safe by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

Requirements:

• Education in ITE or Diploma in precision engineering or any related discipline
• Experience in metal industry (Cold rolling mill, Strip annealing, Pickling, Levelling or Slitting machines)
• Knowledge of LEAN management (KAIZEN, 5S & OEE)
• Committed, self-starter and team player
• Good in analyzing and solving problems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

[WOODLANDS] Singapore HSE Technician

Job Title: Singapore HSE Technician

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Singapore Manufacturing Operations in Hazardous Waste Life Cycle Management. (i.e. collection, segregation and disposal into the waste rooms)
• Conduct regular inspections to assure required standards of the waste room facilities are maintained in accordance to HSE requirements
• Facilitate the hazardous waste collection process with the toxic industrial waste collector
• Prepare and submit e-waste tracking for all waste disposal consignment
• Respond to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate hazardous waste concerns (i.e. chemical spills, chemical scrap requests).
• Management of Inspect and Track System to oversee maintenance and inspection records of safety related items (i.e. fire protection equipment, emergency shower and eye wash, spill response kit, first aid box, AED etc.)
• Participate in HSE inspections & HSE committee meetings
• Participate in HSE internal audits
• Perform HSE Administrative matters such as updating hardcopies of safety data sheets, raising of purchase orders, and updating of chemical inventory system
• Monitor expiration of regulatory licenses and coordinate submissions of regulatory licenses (i.e. radiation licenses, laser licenses) for renewal
• Coordinate Industrial Hygiene and Trade Effluent monitoring with external laboratories

Requirements:

• Higher NITEC or Diploma in any Engineering Discipline
• Excellent Proficiency of Computer Skills and Microsoft Applications (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint)
• Certifications in Environmental, Health and Safety and HAZMAT or/and Work Experience in Similar HSE Appointment
• Good Sense of Responsibility, Drive and Independence Multitasker/Good Communicator/Team Player

Basic Salary: $1,900
Working Hours: 12 Hours (8am - 8pm) | Work 4 Rest 3 / Work 3 Rest 4 Days | Permanent Day Shift
